A Session Debrief and the F-One Titan2
What we talk about
- The viral clip of a foiler behind a tow buggy meeting a hammerhead shark, and the funniest comments under it
- Freddie's first session since New Zealand: windy, rainy February at Exmouth with wind swell, and how the Slingshot Glide 925 felt as it built
- Ozone Pocket Rocket against the F-One Frigate parawing: stiffness, packing into the stash belt and redeploying
- Parawing brands releasing new models every six months, the Ozone Power Pack, and wanting a material that sheds water faster
- Shortening the harness line from 30 to 25 cm, and which foil size and wing type suit different conditions, including Armstrong UHA foils and Surge in New Zealand
- Foot position, wetsuit boots slipping on deck pads, and the rail to rail feel of the Slingshot Glide
- The F-One Titan2 connection system, people who'd just bought kit before the change, the bolts question, and the 12 mm and UHM 14 masts
- The F-One Eagle against the Skate and Eagle X, and how Axis, Duotone and F-One mast connections differ
About this episode
We've been quiet - its been a slow start to the year for both of us. But here we are, back with a nice new episode for all to hear.
Liams bought a house and is spending his days rubbing the walls down with sand paper, so he's been far too pre-occupied to talk foiling. Coupled with the constant rain and lack of motivation to get out, we haven't actually foiled until this sunday just gone - my first session since NZ!
So, we dissect a session and some more new kit as always, and we also put some thoughts down on this fancy new Titan2 system F-One have been getting some grief for. They're opinions, but they're fun ones.
Hope everyones been getting out and about more than us!
