What we talk about

  • The Parawing development push
  • Behind the scenes of the design, manufacturing, and logistical processes
  • Future material development
  • Hollow boards (a low down on their performance now that they've been out a while and why we aren't seeing as much push this year)
  • The new naish foil range (Siren/Excalibur)

About this episode

An episode recorded at AWSI 2026 that Freddie and I were really looking forward to. Not only is Ewan a generally great bloke to chat to, but he is the lead designer of one of the hottest parawings on the market, the Naish Hatch. His riding has also been even more stand out in recent months which he puts down to the new Naish foil range. You might have even seen Tina ripping on it recently! Whilst we hadn't tried it at the time of recording, we have now and both the Siren and Excalibur are pretty special (short fuse for the rippers amongst you I reckon). It really does have that accessible performance feeling. You know you can push as far as your skill level will allow and the gear isn't holding you back.
